This is simple to make, healthy for you and delicious! Serve these over a foody crafts, Pillow Soft Dinner Rolls or store bought multi grain bun to keep this meal low in sodium, low in fat, high in protein and fiber.4 Fresh or fresh frozen boneless, skinless chicken breast (2 to 3 pounds)
2 cloves garlic, minced
fresh ground black pepper
1 onion, finely chopped
1 1/3 cup of your favorite low sodium, barbecue sauce.
1/3 cup cider or white vinegar.
1 cup water
Place chicken in crockpot with garlic, onion, vinegar, 1 cup barbecue sauce and water. Cook on low for 6(7 if chicken breast is frozen) hours or high for 3 (4 if chicken breast is frozen). Remove chicken from crock pot, shred and place in serving dish. Spoon some sauce from crock pot over the chicken and add 1/3 cup barbecue sauce. Stir chicken to coat with sauce then, serve over warm rolls or toasted buns.
